Bumi Butuh Aksi (BBA) is a youth climate movement that emerged as a response to the escalating climate crisis. It emphasizes collective action, engaging a diverse range of communities, from urban youth to those in rural areas affected by climate change. We manage daily content on social media, but also carry out various offline activities to amplify the climate movement campaign.

For years, BBA has been pivotal in mobilizing communities and raising awareness about the climate emergency through digital activations (#PukulMundurKrisisIklim), direct actions, events, exhibitions, collaborations, and other experimental activities.
Campaign activation wouldn't be complete without a strong social media push, as it's one of the most effective and immediate ways to engage with young audiences. Social platforms not only offer extensive reach but also allow for interactive, real-time communication that resonates with youth and encourages active participation in the campaign.
To further strengthen and expand our campaign, we collaborate with a diverse range of experienced partners, each bringing unique insights, skills, and perspectives to the table. This collaborative approach not only enhances the quality and reach of our initiatives but also ensures that our message resonates with a broader and more varied audience.
Beragam Project
2020 - 2023
A form of youth-initiated collaboration to independently develop renewable energy sources, aimed at meeting various community needs, ranging from agriculture and water supply to places of worship and other collective necessities. Together with local communities in Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, and Lombok, Beragam Project has facilitated both the installation and education on the use of solar energy to meet their energy needs.
Climate Strike 2022

For three years, Climate Strike has demanded serious action from the government yet throughout that time, the government has continued to ignore both the demands and the real threats right before our eyes. Climate Strike 2022 is about no longer placing hope in the government, and instead sparking independent, community-driven movements to #PushBackTheClimateCrisis.
Suar Marabahaya
2022
An environmental call to action wrapped in a cabaret festival titled Suar Marabahaya. Involving 12 cabaret teams made up of students from across West Java, Suar Marabahaya showcased captivating performances that delivered powerful messages about the current state of our planet. In addition to the student cabaret shows, the event also featured pantomime acts, percussion performances, and poetry readings, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
